King Salman Center Executes Urgent Surgical Project in Gaza Strip
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage - the center's implementing partner in the Gaza Strip - carried out the urgent surgical project at Al-Quds Hospital and the Arab National Hospital in Gaza City, taking place from May 19 to November 19, 2026, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the brotherly Palestinian people in the Strip. Since the project's launch, the medical team has performed (119) surgical operations in various medical specialties, all of which were completely successful, praise be to God. The project embodies the noble humanitarian role of the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm the King Salman Center for Relief, in standing with the brotherly Palestinian people in various crises and hardships. It is noteworthy that the project aims to perform (500) urgent surgical operations for (500) patients in need of urgent surgical intervention, contributing to saving patients and alleviating their suffering, as well as reducing financial burdens on families amid the difficult humanitarian and economic conditions in the Gaza Strip.
