The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs held Iran fully responsible today (Thursday) for the ongoing attacks on its territory and their consequences, expressing the State of Kuwait's condemnation, in the strongest terms, of the continued Iranian aggression and what it represents as a persistent aggressive approach and a blatant violation of its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

The ministry clarified in a statement that this aggression constitutes a serious breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution No. 2817 of 2026.

The ministry emphasized that the continuation of this aggressive approach against the State of Kuwait and all Gulf Cooperation Council countries exacerbates the state of escalation and tension, undermines the security and stability of the region, calling for an immediate cessation of these attacks.

The ministry stressed that the State of Kuwait will continue to take all necessary measures to protect its territory, its people, and residents, safeguard its interests, and retains all its legitimate rights in accordance with international law.
