Lebanese President Joseph Aoun is leaving for the United States to meet his US counterpart Donald Trump, according to Al Arabiya.

Trump had informed the occupation state's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the need to withdraw his forces from Lebanon and Syria.

Trump also affirmed the need for the occupation forces to begin redeploying and withdrawing from Syria, and to take the same step in Lebanon.

The United States supports negotiations between the occupation state and Lebanon, focusing on disarming Hezbollah so that weapons are exclusively in the hands of the Lebanese state, while the occupation forces begin withdrawing from positions that the Lebanese army will later take control of.
