Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets with Officials in the British Government and the Commonwealth in London

London, July 09 (QNA) - His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met today with His Excellency Mr. Hamish Faulkner, Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom, His Excellency Mr. Chris Elmore, Minister of State for Multilateral Affairs, Human Rights, Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Kingdom, and Her Excellency Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and Latin America, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.

It was also emphasized during the meeting the importance of enhancing dialogue, mediation, and peaceful settlement of disputes, and supporting multilateral cooperation, in a way that contributes to achieving international peace and security and consolidates the principles of peace and development.
