The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) warned that more than 1.4 million people in Gaza still suffer from acute food insecurity, especially in areas near the Israeli military border, where access to humanitarian aid is difficult. Among them, 212,000 are in the emergency phase, and 1,000 children need treatment for acute malnutrition over the next year.
FAO, UNICEF, and the World Food Programme called for the continued flow of aid through all crossings, expansion of commercial movement, entry of shelter materials, fuel, and agricultural inputs, and provision of urgent funding to prevent the deterioration of the humanitarian situation and support food security, health, safe drinking water, and livelihoods.
