Egypt Welcomes Statement Issued by GCC Countries and Jordan

The Arab Republic of Egypt welcomed the statement issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which reflected the unity of the Arab stance in the face of these attacks, affirming its full solidarity with all Arab countries and its full support for the legitimate measures they take to maintain their security, stability, and sovereignty.

In a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it reiterated its absolute rejection and condemnation of targeting the sovereignty of states, targeting civilians, civilian facilities, and vital infrastructure, as well as any acts that threaten the security and freedom of international navigation. Egypt emphasized the importance of respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of states, refraining from the use or threat of force, and the necessity of adhering to the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of states, thereby contributing to the preservation of regional and international peace and security.
