The Ukrainian army announced on Thursday that the number of Russian military casualties since the start of the war on Ukrainian territory on February 24, 2022, has risen to nearly 1,414,820 individuals, including 1,310 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

This came according to a statement published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page, and reported by the Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) on Thursday.

According to the statement, Ukrainian forces have destroyed since the start of the war 12,107 tanks, 24,906 armored combat vehicles, 45,628 artillery systems, 1,922 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,479 air defense systems.

The statement added that 437 warplanes, 353 helicopters, 398,763 drones, 4,887 cruise missiles, 33 warships, 2 submarines, 117,910 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 4,402 units of special equipment have also been destroyed.
