(CNN)-- The Israeli Prime Minister's office reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone on Friday with US President Donald Trump.
The office added that Netanyahu congratulated Trump on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
The statement said the two leaders agreed to hold a meeting soon in the United States.
CNN has contacted the White House for comment on this call.
