Abu Dhabi, 18 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (may God protect him), today received Lindsey Graham, a member of the US Senate.

The meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, discussed the friendship and strategic cooperation ties between the UAE and the United States, and the mutual keenness to enhance their partnerships in a way that serves their common interests.

The meeting also touched on regional developments and efforts made in this regard, along with a number of issues and topics related to regional security and stability and joint action to entrench peace in the Middle East and the world at large.

Attending the meeting were: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the UAE; and a number of ministers and senior officials.
