Qatar's Ministry of Transport announced on Sunday the full resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of marine vessels and ships with immediate effect.

The ministry said in a statement on its X account, "This comes after Qatar advised on June 29 to suspend sailing and fishing activities until further notice, with the exception of commercial shipping."

The Ministry of Transport urged all ship operators and users to comply with applicable regulations and instructions, and to ensure the availability of safety and security equipment to achieve the highest levels of safety and security for all voyages.
