Russia launched one of its largest ballistic missile attacks on Ukraine since the start of the war during the night of Sunday, according to authorities. The night-time attack comes after Ukraine carried out two simultaneous drone strikes deep inside Russian territory the previous day.

The Ukrainian Air Force said it was a large-scale joint operation targeting the capital using attack drones and air- and ground-launched missiles, claiming to have shot down or neutralized 126 targets.

Meanwhile, the acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister announced that Russia had launched about 48 ballistic missiles, describing it as the largest number of ballistic missiles since the start of the war.
