His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, received today His Excellency Engineer Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Kharji, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, at the Presidential Palace in the capital Juba, during His Excellency's official visit to the Republic of South Sudan.

At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God preserve them - to His Excellency the President, along with their wishes for further progress and continued prosperity.

Developments in the International Situation

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, along with discussions on the latest developments in the international arena.
