Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler received Kuwaiti Chief of General Staff Khalid Derg Saad Al-Shuraian in the capital Ankara on Thursday.

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense stated in a post on the Turkish social media platform "In Sosyal" that Al-Shuraian is visiting Ankara upon a joint official invitation from Defense Minister Güler and Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu.

It added that Güler and Al-Shuraian held a meeting attended by Bayraktaroğlu.
