The Turkish frigate TCG Burgazada docked on Friday at the port of Tangier, in the far northwest of Morocco.

The frigate arrived in Morocco as part of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, and will remain docked at the port on Friday and Saturday, according to an Anadolu correspondent.

Turkish Ambassador to Morocco Mustafa İlker Kılıç visited the frigate, where he was received by its commander, Naval Colonel Ercan Aras, and a team from the Turkish Navy.

The ship's commander held a reception on board in honor of Moroccan officials, diplomatic mission officials, and military attachés from several foreign embassies in Morocco.
