World Assembly Lays Foundation Stone for Islamic Educational Complex in Mauritania
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth laid the foundation stone for an Islamic educational complex in the city of Aghchorgit, Brakna region, in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The ceremony was supervised by Dr. Abdul Hamid bin Yusuf Al-Mazroo, Assistant Secretary-General of the Assembly, and attended by a number of officials and representatives of official bodies.
Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Mazroo affirmed that the project is part of the World Assembly's efforts to support education and human development by implementing qualitative development projects that contribute to serving communities and enhance sustainable development pathways.
For his part, the Director of the World Assembly's office in Mauritania, Muhammad Al-Imam Ammar Ahmed, explained that this project falls within the educational programs implemented by the Assembly in coordination with official bodies. He praised the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting humanitarian, developmental, and educational projects around the world, and its distinguished model in serving communities and promoting sustainable development.
