Zelenskyy: Our Allies Must Speed Up Implementation of Arms Supply Agreements
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday that Ukrainian diplomacy should focus on urging Kyiv's allies to implement arms supply agreements more quickly.
In his evening video address, Zelenskyy said, "I am working on making changes in Ukrainian diplomatic efforts. We need a new level of cooperation with our partners to ensure the implementation of agreements related to arms supplies."
He added: "The agreements reached by the leaders of states must be implemented more quickly and in full," noting that this applies to cooperation with the United States regarding a license to produce Patriot air defense systems.
Zelenskyy pointed out that he intends to punish those responsible for establishing ammunition depots in a town outside Kyiv, which were destroyed in a Russian missile attack.
He confirmed that the establishment of depots in the town of Vyshneve had been explicitly banned, "but all these instructions were ignored."
He noted that there are many sites in Ukraine where ammunition depots can be established at a safe distance from residential buildings.

According to Zelenskyy, investigations have been launched against the heads of two state-owned companies, as well as other administrative officials.
Russia launched a massive aerial attack in the early hours of July 6, using missiles, drones, and cruise missiles to strike Ukraine.
The strikes targeted Kyiv and the town of Vyshneve, located west of the capital.
Nine people were killed and dozens injured in the attacks on Vyshneve, according to local authorities.
Security forces evacuated hundreds of people from the town due to secondary explosions, indicating that the attack targeted an ammunition depot, with firefighters taking several days to extinguish the blaze.
