Jazan, Safar 7, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 21, 2026 AD, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, received in his office today the Director General of the Agricultural Development Fund Branch in the region, Engineer Fawaz Zaqan. During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the branch's annual report for 2025, which included performance indicators and the fund's efforts in supporting sustainable agricultural development. The total financing during 2025 exceeded 160 million riyals, an increase of 18% compared to 2024. The report highlighted key financing directed to rural agricultural products, foremost among them Saudi coffee, which received over 60 million riyals in financing during 2025, alongside the fund's efforts to support priority agricultural products, enhance the use of modern technologies, and promote financing partnerships, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. His Highness the Governor of Jazan Region praised the role played by the Agricultural Development Fund in supporting the agricultural sector, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance sustainable agricultural development, empower farmers, and strengthen food security in the region.
