Forbes reported that the average purchase price of final tickets rose about 46% since the matchup was set, while the average ticket price on TickPick reached around $11,300.

According to The Athletic, FIFA's dynamic pricing system contributed to an increase in average ticket prices of more than 34% during the first six months of sales, with some final tickets exceeding $11,000 even before the tournament began.

The price increase comes as the tournament has attracted large crowds, with Reuters reporting that group stage matches recorded a 99.7% occupancy rate, boosting tournament revenues despite criticism faced by FIFA over high ticket prices and difficulty for fans to obtain them.
