Abu Dhabi, December 7 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, today approved a decision to exempt defaulters who have passed away or those whose monthly income has fallen below AED 15,000 from repaying the remaining amounts of housing support loans from the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, with the aim of preserving the stability of citizen families, providing them with a decent life, and protecting them.

The decision aims to remove all obstacles facing citizens and facilitate their life affairs, ensuring a decent life for them. It includes beneficiaries of housing support who have passed away or are unable to repay the remaining amount of the housing support loan.

The decision also reflects the UAE government's and its leadership's keenness to place citizens' needs at the forefront of the state's priorities and to harness resources to provide a decent life for the nation's sons, affirming the care and attention to citizens' situations and working to alleviate their suffering, especially those facing special circumstances, thereby enhancing family stability, achieving social welfare, and supporting them in all their issues and concerns.
