The American Chamber of Commerce has released a new publication showcasing the achievements made under Saudi Vision 2030, highlighting the American commercial impact through the contribution of more than 50 American companies from among its members in supporting the implementation of the Vision's programs and targets. This is done by leveraging American expertise, technology, and investments, and strengthening trade and investment ties between the United States and the Kingdom.

Steve Lutes, Vice President for Middle East Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, explained that American companies have contributed for decades to the Kingdom's growth through investments, technology transfer, and expertise. He noted that the partnership between the two sides has expanded to include energy, manufacturing, finance, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, sports, tourism, and infrastructure.

He added that the relationship between the two countries goes beyond commercial transactions to focus on transformation and innovation, affirming the Chamber's commitment to continue strengthening trade ties that support innovation and contribute to achieving sustainable and inclusive growth for both nations. He also announced work on an updated version of the report to coincide with the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh.

Vision 2030 Achievements and the Impact of American Companies

For her part, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, in a video message, reviewed the goals achieved by Saudi Vision 2030 in its tenth year. She noted that non-oil activities now constitute more than half of the Saudi economy, the unemployment rate decreased from 12% to 6.4% in the first quarter of 2026, and the home ownership rate increased from 47% to 66%.

She pointed out that the Kingdom hosted 123 million tourists last year, surpassing its target of 100 million tourists ahead of schedule. She affirmed that American companies have been partners in the transformation journey from the start, and that the participation of more than 50 American companies in this publication reflects their contribution to building new industries, developing education and healthcare, training youth, and investing in projects.

Strengthening Partnership and Envisioning the Future

In the same context, this publication allows members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to showcase their support for implementing the programs and targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and to determine their priorities for the next phase, amid promising opportunities in the partnership between the Kingdom and the United States.

It is worth noting that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce leads this effort through the U.S.-Saudi Business Program, dedicated to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations, connecting American companies with emerging opportunities in the Kingdom, and representing its members' interests in diverse sectors including artificial intelligence, capital markets, defense, digital economy, energy, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, and tourism.
