Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Co.'s losses widened by 448.45% to SAR 52.79 million in its latest fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, compared to losses of SAR 9.62 million in 2024-2025.
The company said in a statement on Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) today, Tuesday, that its annual revenues rose by 27.64% to SAR 33.06 million in fiscal year 2025-2026, compared to revenues of SAR 25.9 million in fiscal year 2024-2025.
It attributed the revenue increase to revenue generation from the marketing and events management sector, which had not started operations in the previous year, offset by a decline in revenues from the production, advertising, and distribution sectors.
The company explained that the reasons for the widening annual losses are due to recording losses from investment in the financial portfolio of SAR 43.37 million in the past fiscal year, compared to gains from these investments in the previous year of SAR 4.09 million.
It also pointed to an increase in the provision for slow-moving inventory by about SAR 2.11 million in the past fiscal year, and a decrease in the share of results from associates compared to the equivalent period of the previous year by approximately SAR 4.52 million.
The company's other revenues in fiscal year 2025-2026 decreased on an annual basis by approximately SAR 5.97 million due to the absence of bank deposits.
The results for fiscal year 2025-2026 were also affected by recording Zakat settlements on the group worth SAR 1.16 million, compared to a positive impact from Zakat settlements in favor of the company amounting to SAR 6.12 million during fiscal year 2024-2025.
The company announced that accumulated losses reached SAR 54.74 million as of March 31, 2026, representing 23.88% of the company's capital, noting that the procedures and instructions for listed companies with accumulated losses of 20% or more of their capital will be applied.
