China and Kyrgyzstan discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation in green metal supply chains, expand the use of investment platforms, and explore equity investment opportunities according to market mechanisms, during a bilateral trade and economic cooperation meeting held in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

The two sides stressed the importance of protecting the interests of Chinese companies operating in Kyrgyzstan, as China is Kyrgyzstan's largest trading partner and one of its main sources of investment.
