On Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's strongest condemnation and denunciation of Iran's continued destabilizing behavior in the region, its violation of the principles of international law, the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.

The ministry added in a statement that the Kingdom condemns "the repeated Iranian attacks on commercial vessels, which threaten the security and freedom of navigation, which threaten the security and freedom of navigation."
