According to data from the General Authority for Statistics, the consumer price index rose to 105.4 points, compared to 103.6 points in June 2025.

The inflation level is measured by the percentage change in living costs between the current period and the same corresponding period of the previous year, and its decrease or increase is identified by comparing it with the previous month.

The authority attributed the annual increase mainly to a rise in prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels by 3.5%, resulting from an increase in the actual housing rentals group by 4.4%, food and beverage prices by 1.4%, and transport prices by 1.7%.
