Bahrain's General and Islamic Stock Market Indices Close Higher

The Bahrain General Index closed today at 1,966.84 points, up 1.73 points from the previous close, due to the rise in the telecommunications, financial, basic materials, and real estate sectors.

Meanwhile, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 919.03 points, up 1.93 points from the previous close. The volume of shares traded today reached 756,543 shares with a total value of 428,851 Bahraini dinars executed through 153 transactions.
