Cabinet Approves Unified Rules for Joint Property Owners in Gulf States

This decision comes in the context of enhancing real estate integration among GCC states.

The Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, during its session held today in Jeddah, approved the unified rules for joint property owners in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The Cabinet noted the Kingdom's progress to 13th place globally among the largest economies attracting foreign direct investment in 2025, according to the UNCTAD report, pointing out that this reflects the Kingdom's status as a global investment destination, supported by growth in net FDI inflows by 53% to $32.6 billion, and increased competitiveness in the energy, infrastructure, technology, advanced industries, and logistics sectors.

The Cabinet reviewed a set of reports, statistics, and indicators related to the national economy, and how reforms and policies contributed to a positive impact on growth rates, including the stability of the annual inflation rate at 1.8% during the recent period, continuing to record low levels compared to many advanced and emerging economies.

The Cabinet also reviewed the role of the Kingdom's ports in serving regional and international trade movement, with the launch and expansion of logistics centers at Jeddah Islamic Port, enhancing the integration of the supply chain system with multiple transport modes and economic and industrial zones, and supporting the targets of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
