China's CPI Rises 1% in June
Official data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Thursday showed that the consumer price index (CPI), a key measure of inflation, rose 1% year-on-year in June.
On a monthly basis, the CPI fell 0.3% in June, according to the bureau's data.
The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, rose 1% year-on-year, according to the bureau.
Data released on Thursday also showed that China's producer price index (PPI), which measures costs of goods at the factory gate, rose 4.1% year-on-year in June.
