Field inspection teams from the Ministry of Commerce conducted 6,900 electronic inspection visits to verify e-stores' compliance with approved regulations and requirements, as part of efforts to enhance the e-commerce environment and raise compliance levels.

In its Consumer Protection Bulletin for Q2 2026, it stated that statistics revealed 313 violations recorded during inspection campaigns, while the center received over 71,000 reports, a 29% decrease compared to Q1, indicating improved compliance.

The number of newly documented stores on the "Aamal" platform reached 7,600, while the average processing time for reports dropped to 1.5 days, enhancing response speed and complaint handling efficiency.

The center called on e-store owners to document their stores through the Saudi Center for Competitiveness and Business platform, which contributes to increasing store reliability and enhancing consumer confidence.
