Saudi Jumjum Pharmaceutical Company (Jumjum Pharma) reported a 4.2% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter, reaching SAR 137.63 million ($36.70 million), compared to SAR 132.02 million in the same quarter of the previous year.

On a half-year basis, the company's net profit for the first six months of 2026 increased by 5.8% to SAR 305.84 million ($81.56 million), compared to SAR 289.06 million in the same period last year, bringing earnings per share to SAR 4.37 compared to SAR 4.13 in the same period of the previous year, according to its preliminary financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026, published on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

On the revenue side, the company's sales in the second quarter grew by 12.4% to SAR 445.31 million (about $118.75 million), compared to SAR 396.22 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025. First-half revenue also rose by 8.5% to SAR 926.70 million (about $247.12 million).

Jumjum Pharma attributed the revenue growth to higher sales volumes and the favorable distribution of strategic commercial products, supported by sustained strong demand in the Gulf, North Africa, and other export markets.

The company explained that the net profit growth was supported by higher revenues and an expansion in gross profit margin, which partially offset the impact of higher operating expenses, promotional activities, and commercial staffing costs, in addition to the negative effect of foreign exchange rate fluctuations and a decrease in income and profit share from the joint venture.

The board of directors of Jumjum Pharma decided to distribute dividends of SAR 2.2 per share for the first half of the current year.
