Economic / Fifth Mango Festival in Amaj Concludes with Over 18,000 Visitors
Amaj, Muharram 20, 1448 AH (July 5, 2026), SPA: The activities of the Fifth Mango Festival in Amaj Governorate concluded yesterday. The festival was organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Tabuk Region, in partnership with the Red Sea International Company, and with the participation of a number of government, private, and non-profit entities. It was held at Al-Duqum Park in the governorate.
The four-day festival witnessed attendance exceeding 18,000 visitors, who explored its various sections, including contributions from local farmers and producers, as well as informational pavilions and accompanying activities targeting different segments of society.
The festival contributed to enhancing economic opportunities for farmers by involving 20 farmers and holding business meetings and understandings with a number of traders, businessmen, and investors to purchase farm products. This opens new marketing channels, supports building future business relationships, and enhances the presence of Amaj mangoes in the markets.
The festival's organization is part of efforts aimed at supporting the agricultural sector in Amaj Governorate, enabling farmers to market their products, highlighting the quality of mango production in the governorate, along with promoting sustainable agricultural development and increasing the economic value of local products.
