Fakeeh Healthcare Group Wins 'Sustainability Program of the Year 2025' Award at Saudi Capital Market Awards
Fakeeh Healthcare Group has won the 'Sustainability Program of the Year 2025' award in the small companies category, as part of the Saudi Capital Market Awards (SCMA), organized by Saudi Tadawul Group in collaboration with the CFA Society Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA).
This achievement recognizes the Group's efforts in establishing sustainability practices and promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, in support of the development of the healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia according to the highest global standards.
Dr. Ayman Asaad Abdo, First Vice President of Fakeeh Healthcare Group, said: 'This honor reflects the Group's sustainability strategy, which is based on compassion, quality of care, and integrity. This achievement confirms that we are on the right path, with continued learning, development, and continuous improvement.'
He added: 'Sustainability at Fakeeh Group is not a separate path from healthcare; rather, it is an integral part of our way of working and the impact we strive to achieve in the communities we serve. We consider this recognition as an incentive to continue expanding this impact in the coming years, God willing.'
This recognition crowns the tangible results achieved by the Group across the three dimensions of sustainability. On the environmental front, the Group expanded its reliance on renewable energy sources and increased the volume of treated and reused water as part of its path towards achieving carbon neutrality. On the social front, it provided care to approximately 1.7 million patients, doubled the training hours allocated to its employees, and invested over 30 million riyals in education, grants, patient support, and community health promotion. On the governance front, it continued to apply the highest standards of integrity, cybersecurity, and data protection, reflecting its commitment to transparency and enhancing the trust of shareholders and the market.
