Fakeeh Healthcare Group Wins 'Sustainability Program of the Year 2025' Award at Saudi Capital Market Awards
Fakeeh Healthcare Group has won the 'Sustainability Program of the Year 2025' award in the small companies category at the Saudi Capital Market Awards (SCMA), organized by the Saudi Tadawul Group in cooperation with the CFA Society Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA).
The achievement recognizes the group's efforts in embedding sustainability practices and promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, supporting the development of Saudi Arabia's healthcare sector in line with the highest global standards.
Dr. Ayman Asaad Abdo, First Vice President of Fakeeh Healthcare Group, said: 'This recognition reflects the group’s sustainability strategy, built on compassion, quality care, and integrity. It confirms that we are on the right track, while continuing to learn, develop, and improve continuously.'
He added: 'Sustainability at Fakeeh is not a separate track from healthcare; it is an integral part of how we work and the impact we aim to achieve in the communities we serve. We consider this recognition as an incentive to continue expanding that impact in the coming years, God willing.'
This recognition crowns the tangible results the group has achieved across the three pillars of sustainability. Environmentally, the group expanded its reliance on renewable energy sources and increased the amount of treated and reused water, as part of its path toward carbon neutrality. Socially, it provided care to nearly 1.7 million patients, doubled employee training hours, and invested over 30 million riyals in education and grants, patient support, and community health promotion. In terms of governance, it continued to apply the highest standards of integrity, cybersecurity, and data protection, reflecting its commitment to transparency and strengthening shareholder and market confidence.
