Al-Khaleej Club announced the signing of New Caledonian midfielder Angelo Folgini on a two-year contract until 2028, to support the first football team's squad in preparation for the 2026-2027 sports season.

Folgini plays as a midfielder and is the fourth foreign player to join Al-Khaleej during the current summer transfer window, as part of the club's ongoing efforts to strengthen the team with experienced players who add technical value. He has had a distinguished professional career in French and German stadiums, representing clubs such as Valenciennes, Angers, Mainz, and Lens, and also played in the Saudi Roshn League, gaining diverse experience in various domestic and continental competitions.
