The General Authority of Foreign Trade launched an integrated electronic system for managing trade remedy procedures under the name TRES, as part of digital transformation and efforts to protect Saudi industry.

The new system aims to facilitate complaints, investigations, and reviews related to trade remedies, in accordance with the trade remedies system in international trade.

The authority explained that the interactive platform allows beneficiaries from various sectors, such as local industry, exporters, foreign producers, importers, users, and persons of public interest, in addition to government entities, to manage and follow up on procedures electronically.

The launch of the TRES system comes within the authority's efforts to enhance transparency and efficiency in dealing with trade remedy cases, and to support the competitiveness of national products in local and global markets.
