Gold Retreats from Highest Level in Two Weeks
Gold prices retreated today from their highest levels in two weeks, amid rising tensions in the Middle East and increasing oil prices.
Gold stabilized in spot transactions at $4,132.01 per ounce, after rising to $4,165.87 in the previous session, which is its highest level since July 7.
U.S. gold futures for August delivery fell by 0.4% to $4,134.60.
As for other precious metals, the price of silver in spot transactions rose by 0.3% to $59.90 per ounce, while the price of platinum increased by 0.7% to $1,656…
