Governor of Bani Hasan, Nasser bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Baha Region, Engineer Fahd Muftah Al-Zahrani, today launched the event 'Sweet in Its Season' at Al-Husn Rural Farm in Bani Hasan Governorate, in the presence of a number of directors of government departments.

The event aims to support farmers, beekeepers, and productive families, and enhance the marketing of seasonal agricultural products for which the governorate is known, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and stimulating the rural economy.

Diversity of Agricultural Products

Organizers of the event indicated that it included 21 pavilions for farmers, beekeepers, and productive families, who displayed a variety of fruits, agricultural crops, honey, and products of productive families, reflecting the diversity of agricultural production in the governorate and the quality of local products.

Supporting Rural Development

The Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Baha Region explained that the event is part of the ministry's efforts to support farmers and enable them to market their seasonal products, and to raise awareness of the importance of consuming local products, contributing to achieving sustainable agricultural development goals and increasing the economic return for farmers and productive families.

In the same context, the event attracted a number of visitors who viewed the exhibited products, enhancing the presence of local agricultural products and supporting sustainable rural development efforts in the Al-Baha region.
