Kepler: 19 Ships Crossed the Strait of Hormuz in Both Directions on Saturday
Data from analytics platform Kepler showed that 19 ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz in both directions yesterday, while only one ship declared it used the Omani route, compared to 13 ships that took that route on Friday.
According to Bloomberg, the number of ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast fell to its lowest level, after several ships changed course in the area over the weekend.

According to Bloomberg, at least 8 ships that were crossing the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast suddenly changed course on Friday and Saturday.
The agency added that 4 of the ships headed to the route along the Iranian coast and left the strait through it, and the ships that changed course included oil tankers, bulk carriers, and car carriers.
Iran's Fars News Agency reported today that Iranian speedboats diverted 6 ships from the Omani corridor in the Strait of Hormuz.
The latest developments in the Strait of Hormuz reflect the continued complications surrounding the reopening of this passage, despite the US-Iranian agreement announced last month.
