Khalifa bin Zayed issues law amending certain provisions of service merger in Abu Dhabi retirement pensions and gratuities law

Abu Dhabi, July 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (may God protect him), in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, issued a law amending certain provisions of Law No. 2 of 2000 on civil retirement pensions and gratuities for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which enables insured citizens to merge their previous service periods from work in private sector institutions located outside the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as merging service periods prior to the insured person obtaining the nationality of the UAE.
