Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water announced on Monday that several power and water distillation stations were subjected to Iranian attacks for the fourth consecutive day, resulting in fires breaking out at a number of facilities.

It added that the ministry's emergency teams, in coordination with the Fire Service Directorate and security authorities, immediately responded to the incidents and managed to contain and extinguish the fires.

It also noted that an assessment of the damage caused by the attacks was conducted, adding that teams are working on executing plans to repair the damage and rehabilitate the facilities.

It stated that a number of generation units were taken out of service according to the precautionary operational procedures in place, and out of concern for the safety of equipment and the stability of the electrical and water systems.
