Al-Jazeera - Economy:

The General Authority of Foreign Trade, represented by the Agency of International Relations, held yesterday a virtual workshop entitled 'Launching Direct Air Cargo Services between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Australia' to review the direct air cargo services between the two countries provided by the Saudi Cargo Company, with the participation of more than 60 representatives from the private sector.

The workshop touched on introducing the authority and its role in establishing 22 trade attachés and commercial offices around the world, and its supervision of joint Saudi-foreign business councils, reviewing the flight schedule, shipping prices, in addition to the offered incentives that contribute to enhancing and developing trade exchange between the two countries, and facilitating the work of the private sector to benefit from the available enablers provided by the business environment in both countries.

The authority called for benefiting from the incentives and enablers provided by the service through the Saudi Cargo Company, which in turn sought to provide competitive shipping prices that contribute to enhancing the access of Saudi exports to the Australian market, while providing fast and reliable shipping solutions that help Saudi exports arrive as quickly as possible, starting from July 24 next.

The Trade Attaché in Sydney, Mansour Al-Huwaiti, affirmed the role of the attaché in supporting Saudi exporters and overcoming all obstacles they face to access the Australian market, calling on all those interested in the Australian market to benefit from the services provided by the Saudi Trade Attaché in Australia.

The Chairman of the Saudi-Australian Business Council, Dr. Jaber Al-Fahhad, pointed to the importance of launching the service to enhance and develop the volume of trade exchange and open new horizons for trade relations between the two countries, affirming the support of the Saudi-Australian Business Council in achieving the success of the service and its endeavor to connect Saudi companies with the Australian side and overcome all challenges facing the Saudi private sector in Australia.
