London Stock Exchange aims for round-the-clock trading

The London Stock Exchange announced the launch of the LSE 24 platform for overnight trading in the first half of 2027, a step aimed at enabling round-the-clock trading and attracting a broader base of individual investors.

It clarified that the new platform will operate separately from the main market, and in its first phase will allow trading of products listed on the exchange, including funds linked to British and American stock markets.

The new platform is scheduled to operate from 5:00 pm to 7:50 am, while the main London Stock Exchange will continue its operations according to regular trading hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
