French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has been selected as the official supplier and trademark licensee for the 2026 World Cup, tasked with designing and manufacturing the official case for transporting and displaying the most prominent and famous trophy in the history of world sports.
According to the iconic protocol followed since the 2010 South Africa World Cup, the trophy case will be a main part of the tournament's music, entertainment, and ceremonies program.
It will be transported to the pitch during the 2026 World Cup final accompanied by the brand's ambassador and a FIFA legend, to open the case and present the golden trophy to millions of viewers around the world.

The new case was designed by hand and exclusively within the historic workshops of the house in the Asnières-sur-Seine area near Paris, which has a heritage spanning more than 170 years in luxury case-making.
The exterior design features a covering of classic Monogram canvas in brown and gold, decorated at the front with a large "V" hand-painted in gold, carrying a dual meaning symbolizing victory and the name of the house.
The case is reinforced with classic leather edges, sturdy metal corners, and gold-plated lock clasps inspired by the historical archives of the house from the 1860s.
Inside, the case is lined with soft leather to protect the trophy, with the engraved joint logo of the partnership between Louis Vuitton and FIFA.
