(CNN)-- The famous K-pop group BTS, Shakira with Burna Boy, Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Gustavo Dudamel will present what FIFA described as a 'historic show' during the halftime of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, in collaboration with Global Citizen.

According to a statement published by FIFA on its official website: 'For the first time ever, football, music, and social impact come together in a historic show that culminates in its peak. The World Cup final halftime show will support the FIFA World Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at raising $100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world.'

Chris Martin of Coldplay will oversee the show, and it will be broadcast live to millions of fans worldwide, according to the statement.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup final is scheduled to take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey, between the winners of the two anticipated semifinal matches: Spain vs. France and Argentina vs. England, on July 14 and 15 respectively.
