Mansour bin Zayed issues decision to form special judicial body to resolve disputes over Al Zawiya Oasis and Yas Oasis projects
Abu Dhabi, October 20 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, issued a decision to form a special judicial body to adjudicate disputes related to the Al Zawiya Oasis and Yas Oasis projects, ensuring swift resolution of these disputes and preservation of claimants' funds until debts are settled.
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department clarified that all disputes and lawsuits related to the Al Zawiya Oasis and Yas Oasis projects will be heard before a special judicial body, whether the cases have been adjudicated, are pending before courts, or are filed after the issuance of this decision, and whether they concern land, built properties, properties under construction, or off-plan sales, with the necessary precautionary measures taken to preserve funds until debts are settled.
The Judicial Department indicated that the judicial body, in adjudicating the cases before it, will propose conciliation to the parties and attempt an amicable settlement of the dispute by facilitating a consensual agreement, while taking sufficient guarantees for implementation, by assessing the company's financial status and the adequacy of its funds to cover the execution of final judgments issued against it.
The Department called on stakeholders in these disputes to contact the special judicial body at the Judicial Department to include all cases and adjudicate them within the jurisdiction of the body formed for this purpose.
