Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has won the Best Sustainability Program for Large Companies award at the Saudi Financial Market Awards 2025, an achievement that reflects the company's leadership in sustainability and confirms its success in building a business model that delivers sustainable long-term value to various stakeholders, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The recognition came in appreciation of Mobily's integrated approach to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its business and operations, by implementing an advanced sustainability governance framework, conducting a comprehensive materiality assessment, and aligning sustainability reports with leading international frameworks and standards, thereby enhancing transparency and disclosure and supporting sustainable economic, social, and environmental impact.

On this occasion, Mobily CEO Eng. Nizar Banabeela said, 'This recognition confirms that sustainability has become a key pillar of Mobily's strategy and a core element in building more efficient, resilient businesses capable of achieving sustainable growth. During 2025, Mobily strengthened its sustainability performance, achieving significant results including a 13.8% year-on-year reduction in electricity consumption, a 17% reduction in Scope 1 emissions, and a 4% reduction in Scope 2 emissions compared to the baseline year.

Mobily also continued expanding its 5G network while maintaining operational efficiency. The company enhanced its social and institutional impact by investing in human capital development and improving the work environment, which contributed to its obtaining the Great Place to Work certification for 2025. Additionally, it continued investing in improving customer experience and network reliability, strengthening its position as a leading network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This recognition reflects the maturity of Mobily's sustainability ecosystem and its success in embedding ESG principles into its strategy and operations, culminating in consecutive upgrades in its ratings on several global sustainability indices, most notably maintaining its leading AA rating on the MSCI ESG Ratings index, reaffirming its commitment to creating sustainable value for stakeholders and supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals as a national digital enabler.
