Muscat Stock Exchange Index Closes Higher

The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed today at 7117.20 points, up 5.8 points or 0.08% compared to the last trading session which stood at 7111.42 points.

The trading value reached 60,109,653 Omani riyals, up 47% compared to the last trading session which amounted to 40,895,909 Omani riyals. The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization rose by 0.119% from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 37.17 billion Omani riyals.

The value of purchases by non-Omanis on the exchange reached 9,192,000 Omani riyals, representing 15.29% of total trading, while the value of sales by non-Omanis amounted to 10,381,000 Omani riyals, or 17.27% of total trading. Net non-Omani investment decreased by 1,190,000 Omani riyals, a decline of 1.98%.
