Minister of Transport and Logistics, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser, said that 'establishing the world's largest truck staging area aims to improve logistics efficiency and provide a safe area for truck drivers.'

The Minister of Transport added, during a video report, that 'the current crisis has led to the complete shift of logistics movement in the Kingdom from the eastern coasts to the western coasts, and therefore this initiative was implemented to increase logistics efficiency and provide a comfortable and safe area for its drivers, as well as to protect the city of Jeddah from unorganized flow.'

Al-Jasser affirmed that 'the Kingdom has proven that the proposals and reforms that have been made since the launch of the strategy, the great partnership with the private sector, and the cooperation of entities have demonstrated the robustness and strength of the Kingdom's infrastructure, and that we have great flexibility in dealing with crises.'
