Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser, said that 'establishing the world's largest truck staging area aims to raise the efficiency of logistics work and provide a safe area for truck drivers.'

The Minister of Transport added, in a video report, that 'the current crisis led to the complete transfer of logistics movement in the Kingdom from the eastern coasts to the western coasts, and therefore this initiative was implemented to increase the efficiency of logistics work and provide a comfortable and safe area for its drivers, as well as to protect the city of Jeddah from unorganized flow.'

Al-Jasser affirmed that 'the Kingdom has proven that the proposals and reforms that have taken place since the launch of the strategy, the major partnership with the private sector, and the cooperation of entities have proven the robustness and strength of the infrastructure in the Kingdom, and that we have great flexibility in dealing with crises.'
