Qatar Stock Exchange index falls 0.11% at market open

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell 0.11% at the opening of trading today, losing 10.82 points compared to the previous close, dropping to 10,280 points, pressured by three sectors. Qatar Stock Exchange data showed positive performance for the transport sector by 0.90%, consumer goods and services by 0.09%, communications by 0.07%, and insurance by 0.06%. In contrast, performance was negative for the industrial sector by 0.05%, real estate by 0.33%, and banks and financial services by 0.38%. At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trading worth 31.811 million riyals, distributed over 14.693 million shares, executed in 2,405 deals.
