Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call on Thursday from Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, during which they reviewed regional developments and de-escalation efforts.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Pakistani Prime Minister, at the start of the call, reiterated his country's condemnation and denunciation of the attack carried out by the Houthi group on a Saudi vessel, and its threat to freedom of maritime navigation in the Red Sea, affirming 'Pakistan's firm and resolute support for the Kingdom's security and sovereignty.'
During the call, they also reviewed regional developments and efforts to de-escalate and enhance security and stability in the region.
